The LED's on the router indicate the router's current status.

Solid Green Light on Cellular, Wifi, WAN, LAN

The solid green lights on a router typically indicate the following statuses for different connections:

  1. Cellular (Mobile Network) Light:
    • Solid Green: The router has a strong and active cellular signal, and the cellular connection is working properly.
  2. Wi-Fi Light:

    • Solid Green: The Wi-Fi is enabled and functioning correctly. Devices can connect to the Wi-Fi network.
  3. WAN (Wide Area Network) Light:

    • Solid Green: The router is successfully connected to the internet through the WAN port. This indicates that the external internet connection (such as from a modem or a direct broadband connection) is active and transmitting data.
  4. LAN (Local Area Network) Light:

    • Solid Green: A device is connected to the router via an Ethernet cable, and the connection is active and functioning. This light usually indicates that there is a successful data link established on the LAN port.

Fast Blinking Green Light on Wifi, WAN, LAN

Fast blinking green lights on a router typically indicate the following statuses for different connections:

  1. Wi-Fi Light:

    • Fast Blinking Green: There is active data transmission occurring over the Wi-Fi network. This indicates that the router is currently handling wireless traffic, such as devices connecting or data being transferred.
  2. WAN (Wide Area Network) Light:

    • Fast Blinking Green: The router is actively transmitting or receiving data over the WAN port. This indicates ongoing communication between the router and the internet.
  3. LAN (Local Area Network) Light:

    • Fast Blinking Green: There is active data transmission occurring on the LAN port. This means that devices connected via Ethernet are actively sending or receiving data.

No light in router indicates?

No light on a router typically indicates one of the following issues, depending on the context:

  1. Power Light:
    • No Light: The router is not receiving power. This could be due to the power adopter being unplugged, a power outlet issue, a faulty power adaptor, or a malfunction in the router's internal power supply.
  2. Cellular Light:
    • No Light: The cellular feature is turned off or not functioning. This might indicate that the router is not configured to use the cellular network, or there could be an issue with the SIM card or cellular modem.
  3. Wi-Fi Light:
    • No Light: The Wi-Fi function is disabled. This could be due to the Wi-Fi being turned off via the router's settings, a hardware malfunction, or the router is in an inactive state (e.g., powered down or in sleep mode).
  4. WAN (Wide Area Network) Light:
    • No Light: There is no connection to the internet via the WAN port. This could indicate that the Ethernet cable is not connected, the modem or external internet source is off, or there is a problem with the ISP.
  5. LAN (Local Area Network) Light:
    • No Light: No device is connected to the LAN port, or the connected device is not powered on. It might also indicate a problem with the Ethernet cable or the port itself.
