How to configure Provision using Local UI

 To configure the Provision in the RCVx3 device, please follow the steps outlined below.

1. Open a web browser and enter the URL of the RCVx3 device: 192.168.3.1.

2. If you are logging in for the first time, use the default credentials:

Username: celestial

Password: hellotickiot

 





 

3. Select Administration from the Local Web Page.

 





 

 

4. In the Administration section, select the Provision option to access the Provision.

 







 

5. In the Provision settings of the RCVx3 device, you can configure a variety of options to manage and automate device provisioning and firmware upgrades. The settings are divided into two main sections: Configuration Profile and Firmware Upgrade.

Configuration Profile:

  • Provision Enable: Enable or Disable provisioning.
  • Resync on Reset: Enable or Disable resynchronization upon device reset.
  • Resync Random Delay (sec): Set a random delay for resync, e.g., 40 seconds.
  • Resync Periodic (sec): Define the periodic resync interval, e.g., 40 seconds.
  • Resync Error Retry Delay (sec): Set the retry delay for resync errors, e.g., 60 seconds.
  • Forced Resync Delay (sec): Specify the delay for forced resynchronization, e.g., 60 seconds.
  • Resync after Upgrade: Enable or Disable resync after a firmware upgrade.
  • Resync from SIP: Enable or Disable resync triggered by SIP.
  • Option 66: Enable or Disable DHCP Option 66 support.
  • Option 67: Enable or Disable DHCP Option 67 support.
  • Allow Connections to SSL Sites without Certs: Enable or Disable unsecured SSL connections.
  • Config File Name: Specify the configuration file name, e.g., $(MA).
  • User Agent: Define the user agent, e.g., tickIoT_QikCell QCVx3/3.20.202408281422 00:21:F2:2D:6C:40 1.4.
  • HTTP Authentication: Select the authentication type, e.g., Digest.
    • User Name: Enter the username, e.g., 0021F22D6C40.
    • Password: Enter the password, e.g., epihQh5q5P.
  • Profile Rule: Define the profile URL, e.g., https://provvg.phonemdm.com/config/$(MA).cfg.

Configuration Profile 2:

  • User Agent: Define the user agent.
  • HTTP Authentication: Select the authentication type, e.g., Basic.
    • User Name: Enter the username.
    • Password: Enter the password.
  • Profile Rule: Define the profile URL.

Firmware Upgrade:

  • Enable Upgrade: Enable or Disable automatic firmware upgrades.
  • Upgrade Error Retry Delay (sec): Set the retry delay for upgrade errors, e.g., 3600 seconds.
  • Upgrade Rule: Specify the firmware upgrade rule.

Example Configuration:

  • Provision Enable: Enable provisioning to ensure the device retrieves configuration updates automatically.
  • Profile Rule: Use the rule https://provvg.phonemdm.com/config/$(MA).cfg to specify the configuration file path.
  • Enable Upgrade: Activate automatic upgrades with a retry delay of 3600 seconds to keep the device firmware up to date.

These settings allow for efficient and automated management of the RCVx3 device, ensuring consistent performance and streamlined operations across networks.

 






 

 

6. After making all the necessary changes to the Provision Settings, click on the Save & Apply button to save and apply your changes.
