3. After accessing the device configuration settings, select the Dial plan option, which is the Fourth section on the left side.
4. In the Dial Plan page, there is a section called Area Code. The Area Code section includes the following sub-options:
- Code: Specifies the area code used for dialing. Example: Enter
415 for the San Francisco area code. - Line ID: Identifies the line associated with the area code. Example: Set this to
Line 1 for the primary line. - Min Length: Defines the minimum length of the phone number that includes the area code. Example: Set this to
10 for a 10-digit phone number. - Max Length: Defines the maximum length of the phone number that includes the area code. Example: Set this to
15 for a maximum of 15 digits.
5. After configuring all the required settings in the Area Code section, click on the Save button to apply the changes.
