How to configure DDNS settings (Dynamic Domain Name System) using Local UI

To configure DDNS settings in local web page please follow the steps below:

1. Open a web browser and enter the URL of the RCVx3 device: 192.168.3.1.

2. If you are logging in for the first time, use the default credentials:

Username: celestial

Password: hellotickiot



3. Select the Network option from the local page.


 



4. In the Network option, locate DDNS Settings and click on it to access the DDNS Settings configuration.

 



 

5. In the DDNS settings, you need to provide the following details to configure the settings:

  • Dynamic DNS Provider: Select from the available options—NONE, dyndns.org, or www.no-ip.com.
  • Account: Enter your account username (e.g., "user123").
  • Password: Provide the associated password for the account.
  • DDNS URL: Specify the URL for the Dynamic DNS (e.g., "example.ddns.net").
  • Status: Displays the current status of the DDNS configuration.

If you select NONE under Dynamic DNS Provider, the settings will be disabled, and no changes can be made. However, if you select dyndns.org or www.no-ip.com, you can customize and update the above details based on your requirements.

 

 

6. After entering the required details, click on the Save & Apply button to save the changes made in the DDNS settings.
