To configure Wireless Security settings in local web page please follow the steps below:

1. Open a web browser and enter the URL of the RCVx3 device: 192.168.3.1.

2. If you are logging in for the first time, use the default credentials:

Username: celestial

Password: hellotickiot

3. Select the Wireless option from the local page.

4. In the Wireless option, click on Wireless Securityt Settings and click on it to access the Wireless Security Settings configuration.

5. Wireless Security Settings in RCVx3 Device

The Wireless Security Settings section in the RCVx3 device allows you to configure Wi-Fi security parameters to protect your wireless network. Below are the key settings:

a. SSID Choice:

o    Select the desired SSID from the available options to configure its security settings.
Example: Choose QC-Vx3_2D6C40 to apply security settings to this network.

b. Security Mode:

o    Configure the Security Mode for the selected SSID. Options include:

§  WPAPSK/WPA2PSK

§  WPAPSK

§  WPA-PSK

§  WPA2-PSK

§  OPENWEP

§  Disable
Example: Use WPAPSK/WPA2PSK for compatibility with modern devices.

c. WPA Algorithms:

o    Select the desired encryption algorithm:

§  TKIP

§  AES

§  TKIP+AES
Example: Choose AES for stronger encryption and better security.

d. Passphrase:

o    Enter a secure Passphrase (Wi-Fi password) to restrict network access.
Example: Use a strong password like P@ssw0rd123 to prevent unauthorized access.

e. Key Renewal Interval:

o    Set the interval (in seconds) for key renewal to enhance security. The range is 0 to 86400 seconds, with a default value of 3600 seconds.
Example: Set 3600 seconds to renew the encryption key every hour.

f. Access Policy:

o    Configure access control to manage device connections:

§  Policy: Enable or Disable access control.

§  Add a Station MAC: Specify the MAC address of devices to allow or deny access.
Example: Add the MAC address 00:1A:2B:3C:4D:5E to the access list for specific device control.

o    Note: The maximum rule count is 64.

By customizing these settings, you can ensure that your wireless network is secure and accessible only to authorized users.

6. After entering all the required data in the Wireless Security Settings, click the Save button to apply and save the changes.
