How to change settings in LTE using Local UI

To modify the LTE connection settings, follow these steps:

1. Open a web browser and enter the URL of the RCVx3 device: 192.168.3.1.

2. If you are logging in for the first time, use the default credentials:

3. Select the Network option from the local page.





4. In the Network option, locate LTE Settings and click on it to access the LTE Settings configuration.





5. Configurable Options in LTE Settings

The LTE Settings include the following categories:

Basic Settings

  1. Enable LTE Modem:

    • Options:
      • Always Connect
      • Disable
      • Auto Connect
    • Example: Select Auto Connect to automatically establish an LTE connection when required.
  2. IP Protocol:

    • Supported options:
      • IPv4
      • IPv6
    • Example: Choose IPv4 for most standard network configurations.
  3. APN Mode:

    • Options:
      • Auto
      • Manual
    • Example: Select Auto to automatically configure the APN settings.
  4. APN:

    • Enter the Access Point Name (APN) provided by your LTE service provider.
    • Example: Input internet.provider.com as your APN.
  5. Dial Number:

    • Specify the Dial Number required for the LTE connection.
    • Example: Enter *99# as the dial number.
  6. Username:

    • Input the Username for LTE authentication, if required.
    • Example: Enter your service provider's assigned username.
  7. Password:

    • Enter the Password for LTE authentication.
    • Example: Provide the password associated with your LTE username.
  8. Enable Dual APN:

    • Toggle the Enable Dual APN switch to Enable or Disable dual APN functionality.
    • Example: Enable this option if your network supports multiple APNs.
  9. Usage Reset Date:

    • Select a reset date for data usage, ranging from 01-31.
    • Example: Set the date to 01 for a reset at the start of every month.
  10. MTU:

    • Specify the Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) size for the LTE connection.
    • Example: Enter 1500 as the MTU value for optimal performance.

Configuring LTE DNS

  1. LTE DNS Mode:

    • Options:
      • Auto
      • Manual
    • Example: Select Auto to automatically configure DNS settings, or choose Manual to specify custom DNS servers.
  2. LTE Primary DNS:

    • Enter the primary DNS server address when Manual mode is selected.
    • Example: Input 8.8.8.8 as the primary DNS for Google's public DNS.
  3. LTE Secondary DNS:

    • Enter the secondary DNS server address for backup resolution when Manual mode is selected.
    • Example: Input 8.8.4.4 as the secondary DNS for Google's public DNS.






6. Additional Categories in LTE Settings

Internet Settings

  1. Internet Connection:

    • Options:
      • Auto
      • Manual
    • Example: Select Auto to allow the LTE modem to automatically connect to the internet.
  2. Lock Status:

    • Displays the current status of the LTE modem.
    • Example: Shows Cell Unlocked if the modem is not locked to a specific cell.
  3. Lock Cell Switch:

    • Options:
      • Enable
      • Disable
    • Example: Enable this option to lock the modem to a specific cell for stable connectivity, or disable it for automatic cell selection.

Binding Set

  1. Current Status:

    • Displays the current status of your PIN, indicating whether it is Enabled or Disabled.
    • Example: If the PIN is enabled, the status will display Enabled.
  2. SIM Bind:

    • Allows you to bind the LTE connection to a specific SIM card.
    • Example: Use this setting to ensure the connection is restricted to the designated SIM.

These options provide additional security and control for your LTE connection.
















7.  After entering all the required data to modify the LTE settings, click the Save & Apply button to save the changes. Your LTE connection is now ready to use.
