To configure Wireless Security settings in local web page please follow the steps below:
1. Open a web browser and enter the URL of the RCVx3 device: 192.168.3.1.
2. If you are logging in for the first time, use the default credentials:
Username: celestial
Password: hellotickiot
3. Select the Wireless option
from the local page.
4. In the Wireless option, click on WMM Settings and click on it to access the WMM Settings configuration.
5. WMM Settings in RCVx3 Device
The WMM Settings section in the RCVx3 device allows you to customize the WMM Parameters of the Access Point for different traffic categories. These parameters include AIFSN, CWMin, CWMax, TXOP, ACM, and AckPolicy for the following Access Categories:
1. AC_BE (Best Effort):
o AIFSN: 3
o CWMin: 15
o CWMax: 31
o TXOP:
0
Example: Use AC_BE for general data traffic that doesn't require
prioritization.
2. AC_BK (Background):
o AIFSN: 7
o CWMin: 15
o CWMax: 255
o TXOP:
0
Example: Use AC_BK for low-priority tasks like file downloads or
background syncing.
3. AC_VI (Video):
o AIFSN: 1
o CWMin: 7
o CWMax: 15
o TXOP:

Example: Configure AC_VI for video streaming to ensure minimal
buffering and lag.
4. AC_VO (Voice):
o AIFSN: 1
o CWMin: 3
o CWMax: 7
o TXOP:

Example: Use AC_VO for voice calls to prioritize
latency-sensitive communication.
By adjusting these settings, you can optimize network performance for specific types of traffic, ensuring efficient bandwidth allocation and improved Quality of Service (QoS) for multimedia applications.
6. After entering all the required details in the WMM Settings, click the Save button to apply and save the changes.
