How to configure Dial Rule settings using Local UI

To configure the Dial Rule Settings in the RCVx3 device, please follow the steps outlined below.

 

1. Open a web browser and enter the URL of the RCVx3 device: 192.168.3.1.

2. If you are logging in for the first time, use the default credentials:

Username: celestial

Password: hellotickiot

 

 

3. Select the SIP option from the local page.

 

 

 

 

4. In SIP section select Dial Rule to access the configuration of Dial Rule.

In Dial Rule Settings, you can modify various options to suit your requirements.

a. Dial Rule Switch: This setting allows you to enable or disable the Dial Rule as per your convenience.
Example: If you do not want to apply any specific dialing rules, you can disable the Dial Rule Switch.

b. Unmatched Policy Switch: This setting lets you enable or disable the Unmatched Policy.
Example: Enable the Unmatched Policy Switch to handle calls that do not match any defined rules.

 

 

6. Within Dial Rule Settings, you can configure the FXS ports to either restrict or allow outbound calls.
To set this up, simply click on the Add button, as illustrated in the image below.

7. By clicking on the Add button, you can enter the following details:

• FXS: Select the FXS port, such as FXS-1 or FXS-2.
  Example: If you want to configure the first port, select FXS-1.
• Digit Map: Specify the digit map settings as required.
  Example: Enter a digit map pattern to define call routing rules.
• Action: Choose from the available actions, such as Deny or Dial Out.
  Example: Select Deny to block specific calls or Dial Out to enable outbound calls.

 

 

 

 

8. Click on the OK button to add the FXS configuration.

 

 

9. By clicking on the OK button, you can now view the added FXS configuration, as shown in the figure below.

 

10. The final step is to click on the Save button to apply and save the changes to the Dial Rule.
