To configure the SIP Account Settings in the RCVx3
device, please follow the steps outlined below.
1. Open a web browser and enter the URL of
the RCVx3 device: 192.168.3.1.
2. If you are logging in for the first time, use the
default credentials:
Username: celestial
Password: hellotickiot
3. Select the FXS1 option from
the local page.

4. In the FXS1/FXS2 settings, select SIP Account
to access the SIP Account configuration options.
5. In the SIP Account settings of the RCVx3
device, you can configure various options to optimize call handling, audio
quality, and supplementary services. Below are the key sections available for configuration,
with examples for better understanding:
a. Basic Setup:
- Line
Enable: Enable or disable the line.
Example: Set Enable to activate the SIP line for outgoing
calls.
- Outgoing
Call without Registration: Choose whether
calls can be made without registering.
Example: Select Disable to require registration for
outgoing calls.
- Missed
Call Log: Enable or disable the logging of
missed calls.
Example: Set Enable to track missed calls in the call log.
b. Proxy and Registration:
- Proxy
Server: Specify the SIP proxy server
address.
Example: Enter sip.example.com for your VoIP provider.
- Proxy
Port: Set the port for the SIP proxy server (default
is 5060).
- Outbound
Server: Provide the outbound proxy server
address if required.
Example: Enter outbound.example.com.
- Transport:
Choose the transport protocol, such as UDP.
c. Subscriber Information:
- Display
Name: Specify the name displayed for outgoing calls.
Example: Enter John Doe.
- Phone
Number: Enter the phone number associated
with the SIP account.
Example: Enter +1234567890.
- Account
and Password: Enter the SIP credentials provided by your service
provider.
d. Audio Configuration:
- Codec
Setup: Configure audio codec preferences.
Example: Set Audio Codec Type 1 to G.711U for
high-quality audio.
- Echo
Cancel: Enable or disable echo
cancellation.
Example: Set Enable for clearer audio.
e. FAX Configuration:
- FAX
Mode: Select the FAX protocol.
Example: Choose T.38 for reliable fax transmission.
- Max
Fax Rate: Configure the maximum fax
transmission rate.
Example: Set 14400 for standard fax speed.
f. Supplementary Services:
- Call
Waiting: Enable or disable call waiting.
Example: Set Enable to allow notifications for incoming
calls while on a call.
- Hotline:
Configure hotline features.
- Voice
Mailbox Numbers: Specify voicemail settings.
g. Speed Dial:
- Assign
numbers to speed dial slots.
Example: Set Speed Dial 2 to +9876543210 for quick
access.
h. Advanced SIP and RTP
Setup:
- Transport:
Select protocols such as UDP or TCP.
- Session
Refresh Time (sec): Define the session refresh
interval.
Example: Set 3600 for hourly refresh.
- RTP
Port Range: Configure the port range for RTP
(default is 0-50000).
These settings allow comprehensive customization of
SIP accounts for optimized functionality.
6. After entering all the required details for the FXS1,
click on the Save & Apply button to save and apply the changes.
