How to configure Port Forwarding in local UI

To configure Port Forwarding, please follow the steps below.

 

1. Open a web browser and enter the URL 192.168.4.1 to access the login page of the RC500 router.

2. If you are logging in for the first time, use the default credentials:

  • Username: celestial
  • Password: hellotickiot




 3. To access the available App settings, select the App option.





4. Select the Port Forwarding option in the App Settings.

 


 

5. In Port Forwarding, you will find several essential configuration options to customize the traffic flow within your network. These settings include:

  • Client Name: Enter the name of the client or device for identification (e.g., "GameServer01" or "OfficePrinter").
  • Source Port: Specify the external port number that incoming traffic will use (e.g., 8080 for web applications).
  • Destination Port: Enter the internal port number that traffic will be directed to on the specified device (e.g., 80 for a web server).
  • Protocol: Select the protocol type for data transmission. Options include TCP, UDP, or TCP+UDP for both protocols.
  • Source Network: Choose the network source for incoming traffic, with options like WAN, LAN, WiFi-Client, or Guest-WiFi.
  • Destination Network: Select the network destination where traffic will be directed, including options such as WAN, LAN, WiFi-Client, or Guest-WiFi.
  • IP Settings: Configure IP-related settings such as the Source IP Address and Destination IP Address to route traffic specifically between these addresses.
  • IP Enable Switch: Toggle this switch to enable or disable IP forwarding for the configured port settings.

These options allow for precise control over how traffic is forwarded within your network, enhancing both connectivity and security for specific applications and devices.

 

 

 

 

 

6. After entering all the required information for Port Forwarding, click the Submit button to save your settings. This action will apply the port forwarding configuration and enable the specified traffic routing within your network.
