How to set Guest Network for 2.4GHz/5GHz frequencies

To set the Guest Network for 2.4GHz/5GHz  WiFi in the Local UI, please follow these steps:

  1. Open a web browser and enter the URL 192.168.4.1 to access the login page of the RC500 router.

  2. If you are logging in for the first time, use the default credentials:

    • Username: celestial
    • Password: hellotickiot





3.Select the Wireless option to access the available wireless settings.





4. Choose the Guest WiFi option from these sections.





5. In the Guest WiFi section, you’ll find two available frequency options: 5GHz and 2.4GHz. Select the frequency that you prefer for your Guest Network configuration.





6. After selecting the frequency for the guest network, you will be presented with several configuration options, including:
  • Enable or Disable SSID Switch: Toggle this option to show or hide the Guest SSID.
  • Guest SSID: Set the SSID for the guest network.
  • Max Connections Allowed: Define the maximum number of devices that can connect to the guest network.
  • Security Mode: Choose the appropriate security mode for your network (e.g., WPA2, WPA3).
  • Encryption: Select the type of encryption (e.g., AES, TKIP) for securing network traffic.
  • Password: Create a password to secure access to the guest network.
  • Enable or Disable Isolation Switch: Enable or disable network isolation to restrict guest devices from accessing other devices on the network.

For example, to set up a guest network with a maximum of 10 connections, WPA2 security, and AES encryption, you would configure the corresponding fields as follows.






7. Click submit once configuration is complete, Device will now Reboot and Guest network will be ready to use.
