1. Introduction

The QikCell TK920+ is a 4G LTE + VoIP desktop phone that delivers reliable performance and enterprise-grade sound quality over a 4G cellular network. This solution allows deploying a VoIP phone without the need for a local broadband connection, making it ideal for business, shared/common areas, retail settings, remote locations, mobile clinics, or any location that requires simple and reliable voice connectivity.

3. Device Setup

Unboxing

  1. Unbox the QikCell TK920+ device.
  2. Ensure the package includes:
    • TK920+ Desktop Phone
    • Power Adapter
    • Ethernet Cable

Initial Setup

  1. Insert the SIM Card: Open the SIM card slot cover and insert a 4G LTE SIM card.
  2. Connect the Power Adapter: Plug the power adapter into the device and connect it to a power outlet.
  3. Connect to a Network (Optional): Use the Ethernet cable to connect the device to a network if not using 4G LTE.

4. Network Configuration

VoIP Configuration

  1. Access Settings: Press the Menu button on the device.
  2. Navigate to Network Settings: Select VoIP Settings.
  3. SIP Account Configuration:
    • Account 1-32: Enter the SIP server address, username, and password for each account.
    • Proxy Server: Enter the proxy server address if required.
    • Outbound Server: Enter the outbound server address if required.
  4. Save and Apply: Click Save to apply the settings.

5. Advanced Settings

  1. Quality of Service (QoS):
    • Navigate to Advanced Settings.
    • Select QoS.
    • Enable IEEE 802.11e QoS to prioritize voice traffic.
  2. Network AP Share:
    • Enable the LTE Network AP Share feature to share your LTE connection.

Making Calls

  1. Dial the Number: Use the keypad to enter the phone number.
  2. Press Call: Press the Call button to initiate the call.

Receiving Calls

  1. Answer the Call: When a call comes in, press the Answer button.
  2. End the Call: Press the End button to terminate the call.
