Howto configure Diagnosis using Local UI

To configure the Diagnosis in the RCVx3 device, please follow the steps outlined below.

1. Open a web browser and enter the URL of the RCVx3 device: 192.168.3.1.

2. If you are logging in for the first time, use the default credentials:

Username: celestial

Password: hellotickiot

 






 

3. Select Administration from the Local Web Page.







4. In the Administration section, select the Diagnosis option to access the Diagnosis.

 






 

5. In the Diagnosis settings of the RCVx3 device, you can perform various diagnostic tasks such as Packet Capture, Ping Test, and Traceroute Test to troubleshoot and monitor network performance effectively.

Packet Capture:

  • Basic Settings:
    • Packet Trace Enable: Enable or Disable packet tracing.
  • Packet Capture Options:
    • Tracking Interface: Select the network interface for packet capture, e.g., WAN.
    • Filtering Rule: Define the packet filtering rule, e.g., ALL Packets.
    • Upload Packet Enable: Enable or Disable packet uploads.
    • Packet Capture: Start capturing packets for analysis.

Ping Test:

  • Ping Test Settings:
    • Dest IP/Host Name: Enter the destination IP address or hostname for the ping test.
    • WAN Interface: Select the interface for the test, e.g., 1_MANAGEMENT_VOICE_INTERNET_R_VID.

Traceroute Test:

  • Traceroute Test Settings:
    • Dest IP/Host Name: Enter the destination IP address or hostname for the traceroute test.
    • WAN Interface: Select the interface for the test, e.g., 1_MANAGEMENT_VOICE_INTERNET_R_VID.

These diagnostic tools provide valuable insights into network behavior, enabling administrators to quickly identify and resolve issues for efficient and reliable device operation.
