How to configure UPnP settings using Local UI

To configure the UPnP in the RCVx3 device, please follow the steps outlined below.

1. Open a web browser and enter the URL of the RCVx3 device: 192.168.3.1.

2. If you are logging in for the first time, use the default credentials:

Username: celestial

Password: hellotickiot

 

 

 

 

3. Select Application from the Local Web Page.

 






4. After selecting Application, click on UPnP as shown in the picture below to access the UPnP available under Application.

 





 

5. In the UPnP Settings, you can enable or disable Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) functionality to manage automatic device discovery and network configuration.

Example Configuration:

  • Enable UPnP: Activating this option allows devices on the network to dynamically discover and communicate with each other, streamlining tasks such as port forwarding for gaming or media applications.
  • Disable UPnP: Disabling this option restricts automatic network configuration, providing more controlled and secure network management.

These settings give users flexibility to tailor network behavior based on their specific requirements.

 

 

 

 


6. After making changes in the UPnP Settings, the final step is to click the Save & Apply button to save and apply the changes.
