How to configure Port Forwarding using Local UI

To configure Port Forwarding in local web page please follow the steps below:

1. Open a web browser and enter the URL of the RCVx3 device: 192.168.3.1. 

2. If you are logging in for the first time, use the default credentials:

Username: celestial

Password: hellotickiot

 

 

 

 

3. Select the Network option from the local page.

 




 

4. In the Network option, locate Port Forward Settings and click on it to access the Port Forward Settings configuration.

 



 

5. To add Port Forwarding, click on the Add button, as illustrated in the image below.






6. To add Port Forwarding, you need to provide the following details:

  • Comment: A description for the rule (e.g., "Web Server").
  • IP Address: The internal IP address of the device (e.g., "192.168.1.100").
  • Port Range: The range of ports to be forwarded (e.g., "80-80" for HTTP or "8080-8090" for a range).
  • Protocol: The type of protocol to be used (e.g., TCP, UDP, or Both).

Note: The maximum number of rules you can configure is 32.

 

 

 

7. After entering all the required details to add Port Forwarding, click on the Apply button to save and enable the configuration.

 

 

 

 

8. The Port Forwarding feature also includes a setting for Virtual Servers, allowing users to add and configure Virtual Servers through this option.



 


9. Click on the Add button to begin configuring a Virtual Server.

 

 

10. After clicking on the Add button, provide the following details to configure the Virtual Server:

  • Comment: A description for the server (e.g., "FTP Server").
  • IP Address: The internal IP address of the device hosting the server (e.g., "192.168.1.101").
  • Public Port: The external port to be used for accessing the server (e.g., "21" for FTP).
  • Private Port: The internal port used by the server within the network (e.g., "21" for FTP).
  • Protocol: The protocol type (e.g., TCP, UDP, or Both).

Note: You can configure a maximum of 32 rules.

 

 


11. After entering all the required details to configure the Virtual Server, click on the Apply button to save and enable the Virtual Server configuration.
